Full Job Description

The Group & Golf Sales Specialist is responsible for providing a first-class comprehensive group and golf vacation booking service for our travel agent partners and direct clients. The Group & Golf Sales Specialist will have a primary focus on delivering top group and golf vacations while providing a helpful and informative touch to each and every customer.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of sales, operations, and accounting within established administrative procedures.
  • Proactively manage and maintain land and air inventory for agents within deadlines as well as updating overseas offices.
  • Cultivate long term relationships with repeat agents and clients; establish and develop relationships with new accounts.
  • Responsible for Building quotes from approved vendors and delivering to clients in a timely and professional manner.
  • Responsible for booking transportation, accommodations and tours for customized Groups.
  • Ensure groups are operated effectively by paying special attention to detailed time schedules, special requirements, etc.
  • Responsible for recording credit card transactions, received checks and providing receipts.
  • Manage all administrative tasks involved with the operation of a group (updating the booking in the internal reservation system, invoicing clients, authorizing payments etc.) while monitoring group specific deadlines.
  • Effective communication with clients and strategic partners (DMC’s and Vendors).
  • Handle and manage multiple files on assigned group bookings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, while fulfilling the duties with enthusiasm and diligence.
  • Process and generate group invoice, rooming list, tour vouchers, and final travel documents.


  • Strong sales and service skills, required; (minimum 2 years)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), required
  • Highly motivated, working both independently and as part of the team
  • Knowledge of travel and tourism, required
  • Ability to analyze rates, understand operating logistics, manage markups
  • Strong computer skills, required
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and keep organized while working in a busy office environment
  • Additional language skills a plus
