About the Role:

The Marketing team at PitchBook is critical to fueling the company’s growth by utilizing a variety of strategies to support our Sales and Customer Success departments grow and retain our client base. The Marketing department is responsible for all demand generation efforts by executing engaging campaigns, effective product marketing strategies and attending client and trade-show events. The Marketing team is also responsible for promoting the PitchBook brand and managing internal communications. Our Sports and Brand Partnership team sits within the Marketing department at PitchBook. Our team is responsible for activating the PitchBook brand promise through our sports partnerships, primarily within hockey and golf.

The Sports and Brand Partnerships team at PitchBook is looking for a passionate and driven 2023 Summer Intern to support our sports partnerships and help bring them to life. This opportunity calls for an individual who is interested in exploring a career within the sports and entertainment industry and is curious to learn more about PitchBook and the capital markets. Our Summer Internship is full-time program (40 hours per week) running from June – August 2023.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Support hospitality efforts through our partnership’s activations such as ticketing, transportation, communication and logistics

Support the team with employee and client event planning and execution

Conduct research across the sports and private market landscape, help evaluate new opportunities and provide a unique perspective

Assist the team by taking detailed notes, creating internal and external agendas and recapping events

Collaborate with PitchBook’s in-house creative team to manage all sports partnerships creative requests

Participate on a variety of projects, brainstorms and planning initiatives throughout the summer

Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Skills and Qualifications:

Currently enrolled as a junior in a higher education program (college or university)

Marketing, Business, Finance and related majors preferred

Ability to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, from June-August 2023

Highly organized with extraordinary attention to detail

True team player with a roll up your sleeves attitude

Natural curiosity and desire to learn from other teams and departments within PitchBook

Exposure to sports marketing, sponsorship, experiential marketing and/or hospitality a plus

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
