By incorporating direct mail and physical mail (anything sent by FedEx, UPS, USPS no matter how large and small) into digital customer journey?s, marketers can elevate the effectiveness of their formerly digital only campaigns. Our customers use our hybrid experience platform through our integrations with leading marketing technology companies, like Salesforce and Iterable. We help our customers achieve their revenue targets by connecting people with people through our orchestrated direct mail technology.

PFL?s Hybrid Experience Platform integrates with our customer?s current systems and listens for intent signals, or behavioral data, to influence the timing and content for your most effective channel?direct mail.

Why this role is needed and how it relates to the success of the company

Our ability to grow our business is heavily reliant upon the success of our partnerships with other marketing technology companies. Each year we participate in nearly 30 events (mostly webinar/virtual events). And 90% of the events we participate in are with, or hosted by, our technology partners. The effectiveness of the Partnership Events Manager directly impacts the sales of our company. This role has tremendous impact for PFL which is why you are needed.

What you?ll be doing day-to-day

Coownership of, and accountability for, the execution of our events strategy and plan

Coordinate event needs with our partnership team and marketing teams as needed to be successful

Working with partnership contacts to ensure the highest quality execution of events

Manage the execution of events and webinars, including preevent promotion, speaking engagements, in-person logistics and travel, and event follow up

Working with the partnership team to develop relevant sales materials and assets for events

Own and establish budgets for each event

Deliver events on time and within establish budget

Help us get better at delivering events ? we want a fresh set of eyes to help us improve

Work with sales and customer teams to promote and followup on events

Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure they have the information, materials, timelines and expectations necessary for a smooth and successful event

Analyze, track and report on success of event based on predetermined model, including but not limited to: attendance, ICP leads, meetings booked, SQLs, pipeline and revenue

Maintain and gather intel on competitors? event presence to inform PFL event strategy

Negotiate proposals to maximize virtual sponsorships and inperson events

Track and maintain event inventory including collateral, giveaways, etc. within event budget

Willingness to learn our systems to manage projects ? we use Smartsheet

Travel to events as required (<20% of your time)

How your success is measured

Performance of events ? review our old performance and determine appropriate benchmarks for future events; events are measure by ROI, attendance, meetings booked, MQLs, SQLs, pipeline generation

Execution of events ? were details missed? Things drop through the cracks. Not get delivered. We strive for near perfection but understand that is unattainable.

Ability to work with your teams ? we have a supportive culture and that must be cultivated by every member of the team; leave the drama at the door

What you bring to this opportunity

5+ years? experience managing events (B2B marketing preferred)

Superior ability to multi-task

Positive attitude always ? optimism is infectious, and we can?t get enough!

Experience lifting events ? live events and trade shows, webinars (live and precorded)

High quality brand presence with internal and external stakeholders, including prospects, partners and customers

Proven experience carrying out event and webinar efforts, including trade shows, PFLhosted events, partner events and virtual events

CMP (or equivalent event planning certification) required, or demonstrated progress toward obtaining certification

Highly organized with an ability to manage internal resource needs, budgets, and event personnel

Capacity to manage multiple events and scopes of work simultaneously

Decisive and a quick problem solver

Strong problemsolving and decision-making abilities

Demonstrated effectiveness working in a team environment; holds self and teammates to high performance standards

Ability to tie results to initiatives

Flexibility in a multifaceted, ever-changing work environment

Willingness to adheres to and champions company values

The rest of the stuff: Compensation $75K-85K annually DOE. Full-time position with complete benefit package including health, 401K, disability, PTO, bereavement, paid parental leave, etc.
