Travel Sales Agent

The Sceptre Inside Sales Agent is responsible for the building and selling of customized group vacation packages requested by travel agent partners, family/friends of company employees, and any direct B2C client that has been serviced in the past. The Sceptre Inside Sales Agents will have a primary focus on delivering top service while addressing all client questions via several channels such as call center, email, and web chat.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing superior support and guidance to our customers and passengers
• Handle incoming calls and emails in support of our online websites
• Provide operational support to include but not limited to actioning air changes in the most efficient and cost-effective manner for the business.
• Learn and build destination knowledge of Europe, Latin America, and other destinations
• Strong focus on selling vacation packages
• Build customer loyalty by cultivating relationships and providing outstanding support
• Exceed the customers’ expectations through excellent customer service and attention to detail
• Perform other work-related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications

• Strong sales and service skills, required; (minimum 2 years)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), required
• Call center work experience, required; (minimum 2 years)
• Knowledge of travel and tourism, required
• Experience in travel industry and using Amadeus or Sabre, preferred; (minimum 3 years)
• Strong computer skills, required
• Ability to pay attention to detail and keep organized while working in a busy office environment
